ABOUT

Hello, I'm Lamisse Hamouda!

I am a multi-disciplinary designer who graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media, a minor in Information Science & Technology, and a certificate in Diversity Studies. I will be attending Parsons School of Design as a MFA candidate in the Design & Technology program with a graduate minor in Transmedia & Digital Storytelling starting in the fall semester of 2025.

Throughout my undergraduate education, I have had a variety of experiences and opportunities to expand my knowledge beyond the classroom. I have been gaining experiences with software programs in Adobe Creative Suite, Blender 3D, Figma, Autodesk 3D Programs, and more where I have been diligently developing my skills during my own time. I have been selected for several scholarships based on my accomplishments and academic performance as a successful art student at Penn State; my most recent scholarship that I received was the Jean Mitchell Gray, Class of 2013, Trustee Scholarship. I have worked previously in several design internships as I am currently a Digital Intern with Primary Wave Music, the Graphic Design Director for VALLEY Magazine, and the Lead Graphic Designer for Movin’ On. My work experiences gave me the great adventures of collaborating with talented artists and designers, including working for a variety of creative projects for clients with engaging ideas to promote their companies/themselves.

My overall mission as an individual is to not only specialize within my skills and interests towards the creative field, but to be able to offer my services and contribute to projects that makes a great impact towards our communities whether that is from brand marketing for a startup company, illustrations of diverse, representative characters, or motion design that brings awareness to our message.

In my leisure time, I enjoy reading a good book such as young adult books with a warm cup of coffee by my side! I take pleasure in spending time with my friends where we would often explore cafes, play card games, and draw silly memes of each other. I also like to spend time with my pets at home where my family owns parrots, a dog, and cats; growing up with animals shaped me into the great animal lover I am.
